This panel has a standard surface. Outside of the Nordic countries we always recommend the Tough models which are exceptionally durable in UV-light.  

Converts 22% of the solar energy

With Photovoltaics from American SUNPOWER converting up to 22% of the solar energy, which is a world record for serial produced solar cells. It is 35% more effective than traditional cells resulting in much smaller measurements of the solar panel.

A high efficiency solar panel will use less space compared to older competitors. If you choose a competitor you might just fit 30-40watt on a space where you can fit a 50 watt SUNBEAMsystem solar panel.

Peak Wattage (Wp) is the power measured in a laboratory during optimal test conditions. This measurement is made in the same manner by all solar module manufacturers.

Less loss in reality

 

All solar panel brands will have problem reaching the peak wattage outside the laboratory in the harsh reality. This is due to the reality not being as perfect as laboratory conditions.

However SUNBEAMsystem solar panels will lose less when others drop low resulting in a higher energy production in reality

More durable cells results in a panel without metal

The new type of cells are more durable than older types enabling SUNBEAMsystem solar panels to be constructed without a heavy metal backing sheet.

The result is an extremely lightweight and flexible panel. The flexibility makes fitting on a curved surface easy.

The lightweight enables the panels to be used temporality. Many customers keep a solar panel below the bed and use it just when needed.

Design

All panels have discrete design with one color black/blue cells and a white backing. There are no visible internal wiring.

The smaller panels have a unique flushed design with no junction box on the top. This is enabled by a Swedish made low loss cable that is only 1.95mm thick. Still the cable features 2x1.6mm2 pre tinned copper for lowest possible energy loss as well as future proofing.

The bigger sized panels have a compact junction box as well as 2x2.5mm2 pre tinned copper cables. 80cm long and with water proof MC4 connectors in the end.

All the panels features stainless steel eyelets in each corner (except 18W Long and 18W Aero which are only meant to glue on to a surface) 

All panels are walkable when fitted to a solid surface.

LOXX Snap Fasteners

On this special made solar panel the eyelets are replaced with LOXX snap fasteners which will fit securely to any surface where you attach the LOXX docking buttons. LOXX snap fasteners will only undock when you pull the lever making it very secure and handy.

The fasteners are made Germany in Stainless Steel.

When ordering please ad surface fittings for either Canvas or hard surfaces.
